WHERE WE CAME FROM:
The Massachusetts High School Volleyball website was developed from a 2014 MassBHSVB blog, which was created for players, parents, fans, etc. to close the gap that occurred when looking for information. The goal of the blog was to provide those looking for information with a place to not find just their district, region or league, but to find information from anywhere in the state.
In 2015, DSV held its first All-State game in partnership with the Volleyball Hall of Fame, followed by the launch of a full webpage. After four successful years of providing information on the boys' side of the sport, DSV launched the MassGHSVB webpage.
In 2020, after a cancelled boys' season and the closing down of webs.com, DSV decided to combine both websites to create one hub for all information.
WHAT WE DO:
This website offers a couple of different sides to the sport. The main goal of the website is to provide accurate information on the important pieces of information (standings, scores, record, etc.), as well as, provide opinionated information (such as rankings, DSV power rankings, boys' all-star teams, etc.).
